Rieuldorang is pleased to announce its participation in The Stay Collection, an exhibition that brings together leading Korean architectural firms to present contemporary approaches to stay-oriented architecture and hospitality design. In this context, “stay” refers not merely to lodging, but to architectural spaces that encourage people to pause, dwell, and experience a place through time. Rather than focusing on short-term use alone, stay-oriented design emphasizes comfort, atmosphere, and emotional engagement—where architecture becomes a setting for rest, memory, and connection. Through this perspective, the exhibition explores how spatial design can shape the quality of staying, beyond the boundaries of program or building type.
The exhibition also highlights how each architect interprets “stay” as an experience—beyond accommodation—emphasizing spatial identity, local scenery, and the emotional connections formed between visitors and their surroundings.
리을도랑은 부산의 주요 건축사무소들이 참여하는 더 스테이 컬렉션(The Stay Collection) 전시에 참여하게 되었음을 기쁘게 알립니다. 본 전시는 스테이 지향적 건축과 호스피탈리티 디자인의 동시대적 해석을 조명하는 자리입니다. 여기서 ‘스테이(Stay)’는 단순한 숙박의 의미를 넘어, 사람들이 머무르며 시간과 장소를 경험하는 건축적 상태를 의미합니다. 스테이 지향적 디자인은 짧은 체류를 위한 공간에 국한되지 않고, 편안함과 분위기, 그리고 정서적 교감을 중요하게 다루며, 건축이 휴식과 기억, 그리고 사람 간의 연결을 담아내는 그릇이 될 수 있음을 보여줍니다. 이번 전시는 프로그램과 건물의 유형을 넘어, ‘머무름’의 질을 만들어내는 공간 디자인의 가능성을 탐구합니다.
이번 전시는 또한 각 건축가가 ‘스테이(Stay)’를 단순한 숙박을 넘어 하나의 경험으로 해석하는 방식에 주목하며, 공간의 정체성, 지역의 풍경, 그리고 방문자와 주변 환경 사이에서 형성되는 정서적 연결을 어떻게 건축적으로 풀어내는지를 함께 조명합니다.

Our participation also highlights Rieuldorang’s architectural perspective: to create spaces that quietly connect people—to their environment, to each other, and to the moments shaped within architecture. Through thoughtful materiality, intuitive spatial sequences, and an emphasis on shared experiences, our projects aim to bridge people and place, allowing relationships and memories to naturally emerge.
또한 이번 전시는 리을도랑이 추구하는 건축적 관점을 드러냅니다. 우리는 건축이 사람과 환경, 사람과 사람, 그리고 순간과 경험을 자연스럽게 이어주는 매개가 되어야 한다고 믿습니다. 재료와 공간의 흐름, 공유 경험을 중시하는 설계를 통해 우리의 프로젝트는 사람들이 관계를 만들고 기억을 쌓는 환경을 조용히 지원하고자 합니다.
